Connect your POS or eCommerce platform to Marsello to start syncing customer, order, and product data into your account. This guide explains the setup process, supported platforms, expected sync timing, and common questions.

Welcome to Marsello 👋

This article will help you link your point‑of‑sale (POS) or eCommerce platform to Marsello so your customer, order, and product data* can start syncing right away - allowing you to hit the ground running as soon as you enter the Marsello admin.

Before you begin

You only need to connect one integration to complete the signup process. You can add more sales platforms later from the Marsello admin.

If you do not see your platform listed, submit a Request an Integration form to let us know which platform you would like to connect.

General connection workflow

1. Select your platform
Click on the POS or eCommerce platform you want to connect.

2. Authorize the Marsello app
You’ll be redirected to your platform’s app store or permission screen. Approve access to start the connection.

💡 Optional Step: Add another platform.

If you want to connect another POS or eCommerce platform during signup, click Add Another Connection.

If not, click Continue to move to the next signup step.

What happens after you connect?

0–15 minutes

  • Marsello validates your credentials and queues your customer sync.*

1–12 hours

  • Your customers, orders, and products begin importing into Marsello.*

Once your sync completes

  • RFM segments are automatically generated, giving you a high-level view of your customers’ relationship with your brand.

Ongoing

  • Any new orders and customers will automatically sync into your Marsello account.

FAQs

Q. Can I connect more than one platform?
A. Yes. After onboarding, go to Settings → Connections → Sales Platform. From here, you can add additional sales platform connections to your Marsello account—for example, multiple Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) accounts.

Q. Will my loyalty balances import automatically?
A. This process isn't automatic; you can migrate loyalty points from your previous loyalty program platform by following this step-by-step guide.

Q. Does disconnecting affect my data?
A. No existing data is deleted, but new orders and customer activity will stop syncing until you reconnect.
